Q&A: 'Carlos' star Edgar Ramirez

Édgar Ramírez was a soap actor in his native Venezuela before catching the eye of director Tony Scott. He played an assassin opposite Keira Knightley in madcap thriller Domino before doing similarly deadly turns in Vantage Point and The Bourne Ultimatum. It seems the brooding 33-year-old is getting a reputation for being trigger-happy. His latest project finds him starring as the notorious terrorist Carlos The Jackal, whose armed raid on oil cartel OPEC made headlines in the '70s.



Carlos opens in the UK on Friday and is currently screening at the BFI London Film Festival.
