Richard Attenborough might be a cuddly national treasure now, but he made his name as knife-wielding thug Pinkie Brown in the 1947 adaptation of Graham Greene's Brighton Rock. Director Rowan Joffe brings the seaside gangster action forward a few decades for his remake, which stars Sam Riley, Helen Mirren, John Hurt and Andrea Riseborough. The film marks another significant role for Riseborough, who appears to be in every British film this year and next! Hit 'play' to watch the Brighton Rock trailer.
