Q&A: Peter Weir talks 'The Way Back'

Six-time Oscar nominee Peter Weir has directed classics such as Witness, Dead Poets Society and The Truman Show, so naturally whenever he's got a new movie coming out expectations are sky high. His latest film The Way Back sees Jim Sturgess lead a rag-tag group of prisoners out of a Siberian gulag and across thousands of miles to freedom. We recently caught up with the acclaimed filmmaker to discuss his new drama and quiz him about The Truman Show's influence on reality TV.
