Amy Adams was announced as the new Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot yesterday. The three-time Oscar-nominated actress, known for her roles in Enchanted and The Fighter, will star opposite Henry Cavill as he portrays Clark Kent.
Margot Kidder and Teri Hatcher are just two of the names who have had the honour of embodying Superman's iconic love interest, and Snyder said of the latest casting: "We did a lot of auditioning, but we had this meeting with Amy Adams, and after that I just felt she was perfect for it."
