Joe Wright on 'Hanna', 'Anna Karenina'

British director Joe Wright brought plenty of visual flourish to Pride & Prejudice and Atonement, so it's perhaps no surprise that Hollywood studios courted him for a blockbuster project. His genre switch arrives in the form of Hanna, a kinetic action-thriller about a teenager (Atonement's Saoirse Ronan) raised to be an assassin by her father in the Finnish wilderness. We caught up with Joe recently to discuss making the leap into the action arena, getting the Chemical Brothers to add some pulsing techno beats to the soundtrack and his next project, an ambitious adaptation of Anna Karenina with Keira Knightley and Jude Law.
