Director Sean Durkin follows up the enthusiastic Sundance reception for his debut feature Martha Marcy May Marlene by bringing the indie to the Cannes Film Festival. Elizabeth Olsen stars as the title character, a young woman who struggles to suppress emotional trauma after fleeing an abusive cult led by John Hawkes's terrifying Patrick.
