'Superman III': Watch the first 5 minutes

Superman III (1983) brought a lighter approach to the movie series as Christopher Reeve's caped hero was joined by Richard Pryor, the biggest comedy star of his generation.
Robert Vaughn's Ross Webster provides the threat here as a dastardly CEO who uses Gus Gorman's (Pryor) computer skills to further his plans for world domination. Clark Kent, meanwhile, makes an emotional return to Smallville for a high school reunion where he's reunited with childhood friend Lana Lang (Annette O'Toole, who would later star in Smallville). Superman III also sees Clark grappling with his 'Evil Superman' alter ego in a brutal junkyard showdown.
Superman: The Motion Picture Anthology - an eight-disc set of all five Man of Steel movies - arrives on Blu-ray on June 13. We're continuing our Superman coverage today with the first scenes of Superman III.
