Pixar's Hollywood success kick-started in the mid-'90s with the release of box office smash Toy Story. At the helm of Woody and Buzz's first outing was John Lasseter, who's now chief creative officer at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Lasseter has also found time to dip his toe back into directing, steering 2006's Cars and this week's action-packed sequel. We caught up with the legendary animator to discuss inspirations for Cars 2 and his extensive Hawaiian shirt collection. Plus, we do our very best to get him to say something about Toy Story 4!
