Ever wondered how the team behind The Muppets managed to convince the twice Oscar-nominated Amy Adams to star in their madcap adventure?
Well, now we know thanks to this new video featuring Kermit the Frog and star-writer-producer Jason Segel serenading Adams and urging her to be a part of The Muppets.
Segel admits that he's penned several songs in honour of Adams, while Kermit plays it a bit cooler, saying: "You would be absolutely perfect to play Mary, the small-town mechanic and girlfriend of Gary... The movie's going to be great, it's going to be a wonderful time, the whole Muppet gang is going to be here along with Jason and myself. We'd be truly overjoyed if you decide to be a part of it."
Segel adds: "I would, like, totally sing all the songs I've written about you for you during our breaks."
How could she possibly resist?
