Big screen dads range from ass-kickers like Liam Neeson in Taken to loving souls such as Will Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness. There are plenty of bad dads, too, with Darth Vader terrorising offspring Luke and Leia in the Star Wars saga and Jack Torrance slowly losing his mind in The Shining.
