'Blade Runner': 30 stunning pictures from Ridley Scott's sci-fi movie

By
On June 25, 1982, Ridley Scott's science fiction thriller Blade Runner opened in US cinemas to little box office fanfare and a mixed critical response.

Fast forward 30 years and the film (based on Philip K Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?) is now regarded by many as the greatest sci-fi film ever made. Scott's breathtaking world-building, the memorable performances from Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer and the story's philosophical musings about what it is to be human helped cement its growth from an overlooked cult oddity into a cinema classic.

To mark Blade Runner's 30th birthday, Digital Spy presents 30 stunning pictures from Ridley Scott's masterpiece.
