'Top Gun 3D', 'The Heat', 'Stoker': This Week's Hottest Movie Trailers

A whole host of new movie trailers have debuted this week, including the Coen Brothers' latest Inside Llewyn Davis, dark drama Stoker and White House action extravaganza Olympus Has Fallen.

Digital Spy takes a look at these and some of the other hottest movie trailers from the past seven days.

'Inside Llewyn Davis': First trailer released
Carey Mulligan stars in the new trailer for Joel and Ethan Coen's Inside Llewyn Davis. The film is based on the memoirs of 1960s folk musician Dave Van Ronk, who became a guru to other musicians such as Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell. Oscar Isaac stars as Llewyn Davis and John Goodman, Justin Timberlake, Garrett Hedlund and Adam Driver make up the supporting cast.



'Top Gun 3D': IMAX trailer released
Tony Scott's 1986 box office hit Top Gun is being re-released in cinemas next month in a special IMAX 3D edition for a six-day run. The film focuses on a group of students in a US military flying school and stars Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis and Val Kilmer.



'The Heat': Sandra Bullock in new red band trailer
Bridesmaids director Paul Feig's latest film The Heat stars Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy as an FBI agent and Boston cop who are forced to work together, despite their different approaches to the job. The action-comedy follows their attempt to bring down a drugs lord. (Warning: adult content.)


'Olympus Has Fallen': Trailer premieres online
Gerard Butler stars in Olympus Has Fallen as a former Secret Service agent who, after being trapped in the White House, must help national security to save the captured president. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Rick Yune, Dylan McDermott and Angela Bassett.



'Stoker': New drama-horror trailer
The trailer for Park Chan-wook's Stoker is out and follows Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska as a grief-stricken mother-daughter duo. Matthew Goode stars as Uncle Charlie, a mysterious man with whom Wasikowska's character soon becomes infatuated. This drama-horror was written by Prison Break star Wentworth Miller and is Chan-wook's English-language film debut.
