Kristen Stewart's turn as Bella Swan, a troubled high-schooler who falls for Robert Pattinson's vampire Edward Cullen, turned her into a Hollywood superstar. Director Catherine Hardwicke revealed that Stewart was adamant about casting the Brit as her blood-sucking love "After we finished the [auditions] and we had met bachelors one, two, three and four, Kristen said, 'It has to be Rob.' She basically threatened me."
