Bob Dylan - Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (1973) The music icon made his movie debut in Sam Peckinpah's 1972 western. Though his performance drew mixed reviews (and the movie itself didn't set the box office on fire), it did spawn one of Dylan's most famous songs, 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door'.
