Fancy cuddling up in front of a romantic flick to warm the heart? Then check out Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman's frisky frolics in No Strings Attached. Due to the abundance of filthy humour, it might not seem like the conventional rom-com, but ultimately its sweet centre pushes the right buttons.

The photogenic pair is given a close run for their money by Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway in Love and Other Drugs, which tackles the union of a young Parkinson's disease sufferer with a rep from a drugs firm. However, if it's pure escapist fare that rocks your boat then take a trip to the Alps with Chalet Girl. Rising British star Felicity Jones is on fine form in this smooching and snowboarding flick.

As far as romance is concerned, a Woody is never far away. That bit of dodgy innuendo refers to renowned auteur Woody Allen of course, whose film You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger is an all-star affair revolving around his usual theme of turbulent relationships. For the younger generation, it's all about the Twilight Saga though - and the first three films are worth a rewatch before Breaking Dawn hits cinemas later this year.
