Romola Garai ('Glorious 39')

Set at the tail end of the long summer of 1939, Stephen Poliakoff's thriller Glorious 39 centres on a conspiracy to stop Britain declaring war on Germany. Atonement's Romola Garai leads the cast as Anne Keyes, the daughter of a top politician who gets pulled into the shady wrongdoings. DS caught up with the actress to chat about Glorious 39, why she feels a bit like Carrie Bradshaw and the truth about those Spider-Man rumours.



Glorious 39 opens in London cinemas tomorrow and expands nationwide on November 27.
