James Purefoy ('Ironclad')

James Purefoy confidently wielded a sword in Rome and last year's Solomon Kane - now he's swinging a blade again in medieval epic Ironclad. Brit star Purefoy plays a knight who brings together a motley crew to defend Rochester Castle from Paul Giamatti's scenery-chewing King John. DS caught up with Purefoy to chat about his latest movie, which has its story ripped straight out of the history books.



Ironclad opens in UK cinemas on Friday.
