According to The Wall Street Journal, India's Reliance ADA Group is prepared to give Spielberg and DreamWorks, the company he owns with Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen, $500-$600 million in equity.
Spielberg has long been rumoured to be mulling over departing Viacom, the corporation that owns Paramount and DreamWorks.
The Reliance deal indicates that the veteran helmer is hoping to set up a "DreamWorks II" instead of signing a deal with another studio.
