Ali Lohan wanted for Buechler's 'Troll'

John Carl Buechler has revealed that he wants Ali Lohan to appear in his remake of 1986 cult classic Troll.

Lindsay Lohan's younger sister impressed Buechler with her audition, according to People.

"She was great," said the director. "The camera loves her. She's a really good actress... I am personally going to fight for her."

Ali would play Eunice St Clair, who helps battle the evil Torok the Troll.

Speaking about the project, which is rumoured to have a $25 million budget, Buechler commented: "It's a retelling of the original story with some twists."

The 1986 film starred Sonny Bono, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and June Lockhart.
