George Gallo will direct Middle Men, a film about the birth of the internet pornography business.

According to Variety, Gallo and Andy Weiss's script focuses on a businessman who ventures into the world of online pornography as it turns into a multibillion-dollar industry.

Web entrepreneur Christopher Mallick, William Sherak and Jason Shuman will produce the film, which begins shooting in Los Angeles this September.

Gallo's writing credits include Midnight Run and Bad Boys. He also wrote and directed this year's Antonio Banderas/Meg Ryan comedy My Mum's New Boyfriend.
