Louis Leterrier has signed on to direct the Warner Bros remake of Clash Of The Titans.

The Incredible Hulk helmer will direct from a script by Lawrence Kasdan. The film will use greenscreen techniques similar to 300 to bring its large-scale story in on a manageable budget.

Basil Iwanyk (Firewall) will serve as the film's producer.

The 1981 original revolved around Perseus, the son of Zeus, as he fought to save Princess Andromeda. The film marked the retirement of legendary stop-motion effects animator Ray Harryhausen.
