Bonham Carter in talks for 'Terminator'

Helena Bonham Carter is in talks to join the cast of Terminator Salvation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Sweeney Todd actress is reportedly in line for a small but crucial role in the fourth instalment of the science fiction franchise.

She will join Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Bryce Dallas Howard, Anton Yelchin, Moon Bloodgood and Common in the Terminator Salvation cast.

The Warner Bros film is currently shooting in New Mexico under the direction of McG. The studio is looking to wrap all exterior filming before a potential actors' strike in the hope that the blockbuster will still be able to make its May 22, 2009 release date.
