Legendary prepares '300' follow-up
Published Monday, Jun 30 2008, 15:54 BST | By Simon Reynolds

Frank Miller, who authored the original 300 graphic novel, is currently working on a new comic story. Director Zack Snyder is interested in the project but will not commit until he sees the finished book.
Many of the main characters die in the original film, making a prequel or spinoff more likely than a direct sequel.
Legendary's Thomas Tull said: "The vision of Frank Miller's universe that Zack Snyder brought to the screen in 300 is unlike anything ever seen before.
"We want to be certain that the story originates with Frank and [is] as compelling as the first."
