Christian Gudegast will direct bank heist drama Den Of Thieves for production company Relativity Media (Hancock), reports Variety.
Gudegast penned the screenplay with ex-writing partner Paul Scheuring (Prison Break) nearly a decade ago.
The project shuffled around Hollywood for several years, at one point as an unaired TV pilot, before landing at Relativity.
Gudegast, a former music video director, has previously written scripts for Beyond The City Limits and A Man Apart.
He is also working on a big screen remake of Hawaii Five-O.
