Thurber plans 'Elfquest' adaptation

Rawson Marshall Thurber is planning to helm an adaptation of the comic book Elfquest.
The Dodgeball director wants to bring the Wendy and Richard Pini story to the big screen, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
It is not known whether the movie will be live action or animation.
Elfquest, which has been published by DC and Marvel, follows a group of elves called Wolfriders, who attempt to link their tribes with two moons. Along the way the Wolfriders battle various groups of humans and trolls.
