Airline to end in-flight movies
Published Friday, Jul 11 2008, 07:44 BST | By Simon Reynolds

The airline has chosen to suspend showing films as in-flight entertainment because the systems, which weigh 500lbs (227kg), are causing planes to use up more fuel.
The number of people paying $5 for headsets has also dropped, making it a less profitable venture.
"We simply can't afford to do it anymore," said Travis Christ, vice-president for sales and marketing at US Airways.
Movies are shown on flights that are at least two and a half hours long.
