'Boogeyman' director to helm 'Cell 123'

Stephen Kay has signed to direct new thriller Cell 123.
Kay, whose previous credits include 2005 horror Boogeyman, will helm the project from a screenplay by Maninder Chana.
The story centres around a criminal defence attorney who is framed for killing one of his jailed clients.
He is thrown into the isolated Cell 213 at Dodgeville State Penitentiary, which is reserved for people whose souls are up for grabs by both God and Satan.
Filming begins in Southern Ontario, Canada in August, reports Bloody Disgusting.
