Chris Brown cast in 'Bone Deep'

Chris Brown has been cast in the Screen Gems thriller Bone Deep, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The R&B star will join Matt Dillon, Idris Elba and rapper T.I. in the film, which centres on a gang of criminals planning a heist at a money depot.

Director John Lussenhop will make his feature film debut on Bone Deep.

Brown, a Grammy-nominated performer, has been juggling a career in music and movies. His first film, dance movie Stomp The Yard, was a box office hit last year. He has also starred in This Christmas.
