'Batman' scribe unsure over third movie

Goyer confirmed that he would only get involved in a new Batman project if he felt confident that 2005's Batman Begins and its sequel could be topped.
"I think that’s the scariest thing - to think, could we come up with a third movie that was as good as the first two? Can we top ourselves?" Goyer asked in an interview with MTV News. "Doing it a third time would be a big proposition."
While he revealed that a theme and villain have already been discussed for a third movie, Goyer warned that there is no guarantee the plans will go any further.
He said: "I do think, though, that if there's not a third film - these two movies stand on their own. I think it could go either way."
