David A. Goodman has been hired to pen a movie adaptation of horror comic Last Blood, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Blatant Comics book, created by brothers Bobby Crosby and Chris Crosby, concerns a group of vampires who protect human survivors of a zombie massacre so they can live off their blood.
Goodman is the showrunner and executive producer on the Fox animated sitcom Family Guy. The Emmy-nominated writer has recently penned the comedy remake Who Is Killing The Great Chefs Of Europe? for Warner Bros.
Production firm Benderspink (The Ruins, A History Of Violence) will steer Last Blood.
