Lopez signs for 'The Governess'

Jennifer Lopez has agreed to star in romantic comedy The Governess, reports Variety.

The film focuses on a thief who poses as a nanny to a rich widower's three children. As she begins to fall for the kids and their father, she must decide whether to carry out a planned bank heist or start a new life with the family.

Nigel Cole (Calendar Girls) will direct from a script by Kevin Wade and Don Roos.

Bob Yari, Sid Ganis, Alex Siskin and Simon Fields are producing the film, which has secured a waiver from the Screen Actors Guild.
