Streep to lead untitled Meyers comedy

Meryl Streep is in final talks to star in Nancy Meyers's untitled romantic comedy, Variety reports.

The film focuses on a woman involved in a love triangle with two men. Meyers, who also penned the script, has previously directed What Women Want, Something's Gotta Give and The Holiday.

Scott Rudin will produce the Universal film, which is slated to begin production next February.

Streep will also voice a lead role in Wes Anderson's animated adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
