The film focuses on two bank robbers using the extreme sport to execute bank heists. Parkour, which was featured in Bond movie Casino Royale, involves participants quickly traversing urban environments using objects in the surrounding area.
Music video director Richie Smyth, an extreme sports enthusiast, will helm the project from a script by Kevin Lund and T.J. Scott.
Tatum's previous acting credits include Step Up, She's The Man and A Guide To Recognising Your Saints. He will also appear in the upcoming Fighting and GI Joe.
