'Independence Day' speech cheesiest moment

Bill Pullman's "cornball speech" in 1996 blockbuster Independence Day has been named the cheesiest movie moment of all time.
The show of American patriotism came top in a survey by Empire Magazine, which described it as "a cornball speech that sounds like Shakespeare rewritten by kindergarteners".
In second place was the scene from Top Gun where Val Kilmer's Iceman tells Tom Cruise's Maverick: "You can be my wingman any time," followed in third place by the victorious ending of The Karate Kid.
Also in the top ten was Kate Beckinsdale reading a love letter as the sun sets in Pearl Harbor (fifth place), Richard Gere sweeping Debra Winger off her feet in An Officer And A Gentleman (eighth place) and a group of terminally ill children coming to court to save Robin Williams' career in Patch Adams (ninth place).
