Hackford tackles Tennessee Williams biopic

Williams, whose work includes A Streetcar Named Desire and Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, led a turbulent life which saw him struggle with his sexuality and witness his sister get institutionalised and lobotomised.
The script, titled Tenn and written by Robin Shushan, will centre on Williams's early years. Capote producer Michael Ohoven will steer the project with Dan Halsted.
Ohoven told Variety: "I had that same incredible feeling reading this script that I had on Capote, and here again is an extremely dramatic story about how a torn and twisted life led Williams to write such great successes."
Hackford recently completed filming Love Ranch with wife Helen Mirren.
