Despite winning 11 oscars and breaking box office records around the globe, Titanic has been voted the nation's worst film ever.
The epic came top in a poll on the BBC's Film 2003 with Jonathan Ross, which saw over 2000 different movies nominated for the title over the course of six weeks.
In second place was Steven Spielberg's less than spectacular sci-fi flick A.I., followed in third by Pearl Harbor. Also making it into the top ten were The Blair Witch Project (fifth place), Batman and Robin (sixth place) and Eyes Wide Shut (ninth place).
