The Columbia Pictures movie will be rewritten by Kenneth Lonergan (Gangs Of New York) from a pitch by Ian Deitchman and Kristin Rusk Robinson, reports Variety.
The 'multigenerational fatherhood comedy' revolves around a father and son with an uneasy relationship who begin to bond after having baby sons at the same time.
Kutcher, whose producing credits include TV show Beauty And The Geek and upcoming sex comedy Spread, will steer the project with Jason Goldberg via their Katalyst Films shingle.
