Daley, Goldstein hired for 'Magician'

Rex Features

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have been hired to rewrite Burt Dickenson, Most Powerful Magician On The Planet Earth, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The script, originally penned by Chad Kultgen and Tyler Mitchell, is based around a successful Las Vegas illusionist whose status is threatened by a younger "extreme magician".

Mitchell will also serve as a producer on the film.

Daley, an actor known for his roles in Bones and Freaks And Geeks, recently penned the script The $40,000 Man with Goldstein. The film, a spoof of The Six Million Dollar Man, will be directed by Terry Zwigoff.
