Nicolas Cage signs to 'Kick-Ass'

Cage will play an ex-cop who, during his battles with a drug lord, trains his daughter to be a lethal weapon.
Kick-Ass, written by Mark Millar and drawn by John Romita Jr., portrays the life of high school student Dave Lizewski, who becomes obsessed with the idea of real-life superheroes.
The movie's central character will be played by British actor Aaron Johnson. Also among the cast are Christopher Mint-Plasse and Lyndy Fonseca.
The adaptation of the violent Marvel comic is being scripted by Vaughn and his Stardust co-writer Jane Goldman.
