Sean Astin signs for 'Demoted'

Sean Astin has signed up appear in J.B. Rogers's indie comedy Demoted.
The Lord Of The Rings actor will play a tyre salesman who enjoys playing practical jokes on his co-worker (David Cross), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
When Cross's character becomes the new boss, Astin and co-star Michael Vartan are relegated to secretarial jobs, prompting them to start plotting revenge.
Also signed up for the project are The Big Bounce's Sara Foster and Celia Weston.
The movie, which is written by Dan Callahan, starts shooting in Michigan next month.
