'Love Actually' holds UK top spot

Love Actually has topped the UK box office for the third weekend in a row, early figures show.

The Richard Curtis romcom pulled in £3.2m on Friday and Saturday, keeping it at number one in the box office rankings and taking its domestic gross to £21.0m.

Kids' christmas comedy Elf held steady in second place with weekend ticket sales of £2.3m.

Colin Farrell's new action adventure S.W.A.T opened at number three with £2.0m, whilst Brother Bear made its debut at five.

In its tenth week of release, Disney animation Finding Nemo ranked ninth with a gross to date of £37.0m.
