Landon to helm comedy 'Burning Palms'

Christopher Landon will direct dark comedy Burning Palms.
The Disturbia writer also scripted the project, which is being produced by Jason Hewitt's Films In Motion.
According to Variety, the movie is a subversive tale that pieces together five different stories based in Los Angeles, where shooting begins in October.
Landon is also currently working on a remake of 1987 horror Near Dark.
