Maguire on board for 'Spider-Man 4'

Rumours have been rife that the actor is to step down from the franchise, with Patrick Fugit and Michael Angarano said to be frontrunners to take the role.
However, both Maguire and director Sam Raimi have now agreed to a fourth instalment, according to Deadline Hollywood Daily. Kirsten Dunst has yet to sign on to reprise her role as Mary Jane Watson.
The site also claims that Sony Pictures is keen to shoot the fourth and fifth movies in the franchise simultaneously to avoid scheduling difficulties for the cast and crew.
Spider-Man 4 is expected to hit cinemas in May 2011.
