Kilmer to topline 'Fake Identity'

Val Kilmer has signed to star in upcoming thriller Fake Identity.

The actor will play an American doctor working in Chechnya who finds himself at risk after he comes to the aid of a woman fleeing a would-be attacker.

Dennis Dimster-Denk will helm the Nu Image/Millennium Films project from a script he co-wrote with Cold Heart collaborator Zvia Dimbort.

Shooting on Fake Identity will begin on September 30 in Bulgarian capital Sofia.
