Julie Andrews joins 'Tooth Fairy'

Julie Andrews has been added to the cast of Tooth Fairy, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The Mary Poppins star will join Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Judd, The Office co-creator Stephen Merchant and skateboarder Ryan Sheckler in Fox's family comedy.

The film revolves around a hockey player (Johnson) who becomes a real-life tooth fairy. Judd will play the eponymous character's girlfriend, while Andrews's role is that of a Tooth Fairy Department supervisor.

Merchant has been cast as awkward tooth fairy Tracy, while Sheckler plays a hockey rival to Johnson's character.

Tooth Fairy begins production next month in Vancouver, with TV veteran Michael Lembeck helming a script by Lowell Ganz, Babaloo Mandel, Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia.
