'Lost' star signs for 'Killing Jar'

Lost actor Harold Perrineau will star in and executive produce hostage thriller Killing Jar, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie revolves around a shotgun-wielding stranger who takes seven people hostage at a roadside diner. Perrineau will play John, a travelling salesman.

Michael Madsen and Danny Trejo are also among the indie film's cast.

Mark Young will direct from his own script, with John Sachar serving as producer.

Perrineau's previous film credits include Romeo + Juliet, The Matrix and 28 Weeks Later.
