Douglas, Damon lined up for 'Liberace'

Douglas is eyeing the role of the pianist, real name Wladziu Valentino Liberace, with Damon in talks to play Scott Thorson. Thorson sued Liberace for $113 million in palimony in 1982, claiming that he was his companion for five years.
Liberace died of complications from AIDS in 1987 at the age of 67.
Richard LaGravanese will write the script and Jerry Weintraub will produce.
The project will not arrive in cinemas for some time as Soderbergh's next film will be The Girlfriend Experience.
