Speaking at the Deauville American film festival, Marina Zenovich told AFP that she will helm a feature on the politician now that she has finished her film on director Roman Polanski.
Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired offers a sympathetic view of the Polish auteur, whose movies include Rosemary's Baby and Chinatown. However, Zenovich commented that there may be parts of Sarkozy's life that cannot be avoided.
"You can't get away from the drama of his personal life... Of course, you can't help seeing the soap opera of his love life," she said.
