'Chasing Harry Winston' rights picked up

Andy Tennant, director of Fool's Gold and Hitch, is to helm the project, based on Lauren Weisberger's third bestseller after The Devil Wears Prada and Everyone Worth Knowing.
The plot, which focuses on three young women who vow to change their lives within a year, will be adapted for the screen by Gina Wendkos, whose previous credits include Coyote Ugly and The Perfect Man.
Mandalay Pictures will produce the film, according to Variety.
