McGregor, Spacey in talks for 'Goats'

Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges are in talks to join George Clooney in the cast of Men Who Stare At Goats, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Based on Jon Ronson's book, Goats focuses on a reporter (McGregor) who meets a spy (Clooney) claiming to be a "psychic soldier" reactivated following the 9/11 attacks. The book's title refers to the telepathic ability to kill farmyard animals with just a thought.

Bridges will play a mentor to Clooney's character, while Spacey's role is that of a former psychic spy who is now running a prison camp in Iraq.

Clooney's producing partner Grant Heslov will direct the film from Peter Straughan's script.
